New installation of automatic system for dissolved oxygen in Igoumenitsa
Igoumenitsa. Another successful installation of DO oxygen monitoring and control system was completed in a big aquaculture company in Sagiada, Igoumenitsa.
The main features of the system consist of:
• The monitoring of tanks
• The control of the oxygen amount
• The safety against malfunctions
The system succeeds in:
• Oxygen economy
• Higher productivity due to increase in the amount of juveniles per tank
• Better quality environment for juvenile development
More than 15 similar systems are operating in Greece and abroad after the first successful installation of “Thema Automation“, which took place in 2008 and resulted in increased efficiency in fish hatcheries.

The new “Versafill” intelligent algorithm

The Optibatch software, which is installed in “Thema Automation“ graders was upgraded integrating the new “Versafill” intelligent algorithm resulting in: • Up to 4 times less yearly production overweight. The transition to the new algorithm significantly increases the graders’ efficiency, directly increasing the revenue of the company’s clients in the following ways: • Reduction in man-hours needed to modify overweight batches. The new algorithm will be pre-installed in graders to be distributed after 1/1/2021, while there will be an option to upgrade pre-existing ones. |
